At HomieLab, we believe your personal information belongs to you. RobotVision is built around data minimization: the application performs all calculations locally, in real-time, on your own hardware.
1. Core Philosophy
We do not collect, capture, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII). No account registration is required to use the application. The app processes data strictly in temporary RAM and does not send telemetry to remote cloud nodes.
2. Camera & Photo Permissions
Camera access is used solely to capture video frames for real-time object tracking and 3D coordinate estimation. Photo Library permissions are optional and only activated when you choose to save a screenshot overlay of detected items directly to your device storage.
3. Face & TrueDepth Processing
If you switch the camera to the front lens, the app utilizes ARKit Face Tracking. This feature estimates relative distance and alignment. We guarantee that zero face geometry or biometric markers are saved, exported, or shared. All tracking parameters are deleted immediately upon closing the session.
4. Sandbox Security & Third Parties
Because we store nothing on external servers, there is no data to sell, trade, or share with third parties. Your computations are sandboxed within the secure iOS runtime, protecting the local REST endpoint from unauthorized local access.
